This was actually something I made in the middle of last semester!
...
I just forgot to upload it.
Anyways, the project for this one was for multiples and free form casting with a theme of "Lost and Found". I decided to go with "Lost sleep" as the theme and wanted to make a cute looking charm bracelet that, upon closer inspection, had not so cute charms in the mix. These were going to be cuttlebone cast, but I didn't carve the forms deep enough and none of them turned out. .__.
Sooo due to time constraints, I quickly carved them out of wax and was stuck with the above image. You can clearly see the little sheep, star, and moon I made, but the other two might be a bit harder to tell. One is a sheep skull, and the other was supposed to be a sheep getting eaten, but didn't translate well in the tiny charm form(These charms are roughly about the size of a penny). I had also attempted to make a rubber mold of the charms(for the first time), but that horribly failed as well and none of the wax copies turn out. -_-
So yeah, I think the only truly successful thing I made here was the bracelet itself, and even then there was a mistake on it. The hollow form I made for the clasp I used silver filled sheet... And while sanding I managed to sand away all the silver on the sides. -_-
It worked out in the end. I like how the clasp turned out. :3
This is made from bronze, silver filled sheet and wire, and a stone from my box of rocks.
One day I'll make proper rubber molds of that sheep... Then make tons of them! d=
Sweet! That would be awesome!
